I'm currently in lockdown in Ontario so I'm putting this time to good use and have started sorting and transferring my family's 8mm to digital.
Some of it wasn't stored properly in the past so it has been a challenge to work with. There is fading and some moisture damage and some of the film is crinkled BUT it has been so much fun going through them.
I have decided to put the films on YouTube so I have started a new channel, Redwood Retro :) Please subscribe if you like old home movies.
This is a short one of a fire at a Coca Cola plant in Toronto. I'm pretty sure it is 1962. It was shot at the corner of Old Weston Road and Toronto where my family had a Texaco Gas station.
