Happy December! Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday season. I am now offering Free shipping on all single photographs and slides to Canada.  I still have the buy three and get free shipping for US and International -  you may have to request an invoice to bypass the EIS shipping options.  The majority of my slides are made in the US and are OOAK so they should be tariff free.  Listing some wall print worthy images this week of European landmarks like this fun one of Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.  The neon sign translates to "WHAT DOES LOVE MEAN HERE?

The House the Jack Built

Image
In the early 60s my grandfather had a house built in the Lakeview / Port Credit area of Mississauga. My grandparents took turns filming the construction resulting in 2 full length 8mm reels. I have condensed it quite a bit.  It was sold in the 80s and I've seen it on the market a few times. Its always fun to look at the real estate listing and see the changes that have made over the last 60 years.

8mm Film - Coca Cola Plant fire Toronto 1962

Image
This is a short one of a fire at a Coca Cola plant in Toronto. I'm pretty sure it is 1962. It was shot at the corner of Old Weston Road and Toronto where my family had a Texaco Gas station.  I have decided to put the films on YouTube so I have started a new channel,  Redwood Retro :)  Please subscribe if you like old home movies.

Vintage Kodachrome Slides - Dogs

Image
Photographers have been drawn to animal subjects since the invention of cameras with dogs being number one in my opinion. Searching through estate lots of amateur slides, I find just as many dog photos as I do ones of babies. These photos are all from the 1960s. Photographers unknown.
